Directed Technologies Receives TCA Type-Approval for Level 2 Assurance Telematics Device
Directed Technologies is pleased to announce that its telematics device has been Type-Approved by Transport Certification Australia (TCA) as a Level 2 assurance device under the National Telematics Framework. This certification confirms the device meets stringent national standards for data accuracy, security, and integrity – enabling transport operators to use Directed’s solution in regulated telematics programs across Australia’s heavy vehicle industry.
The TCA Type-Approval affirms Directed’s readiness to support participation in programs such as the Road Infrastructure Management (RIM) and Telematics Monitoring Application (TMA), where certified data capture and reporting are critical to compliance and productivity. With Level 2 assurance, Directed’s device delivers trusted performance in high-integrity use cases, including infrastructure-based access schemes, where accuracy and reliability are non-negotiable.
