Australia’s leading car show Meguiars MotorEx 2014 was held in Melbourne for the first time on the weekend of 19-20 of July 2014. Record crowds patiently lined up to view over $45 million in world class muscle, performance, show and street cars were on display, well enough to satisfy even the most critical of the 28,000 petrol heads that attended the event.

Directed Electronics exhibited again this year at MotorEx representing several of their major brands including Sony Car Audio, Viper Vehicle Security & Control Systems and Orion Car Audio with a large 27 square metre stand, also launching their brand new Orion and Sony demo cars at the event.

Throughout the show, Directed sold Orion inflatable baseball bats and Sony umbrellas for a gold coin donation to charity and sold over 2,000 units. Orion blow up bats could be seen everywhere at the show and the public were lined up 20 deep to get their hands on one.

In all Directed collected over $2,000 which has been proudly donated to the “MY ROOM – CHILDREN’S CANCER CENTRE, ROYAL CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL, MELBOURNE”
